Pipeline Integrity Management Program
Per federal regulations, some segments along natural gas transmission pipelines are designated as High Consequence Areas (HCAs). In response, ONE Gas has developed and deployed a supplemental hazard assessment and prevention program, called an Integrity Management Program.
The primary goal of our Integrity Management Program (IMP) is the safe, reliable operation of the Company’s natural gas pipeline system. Our current Integrity Management Program establishes protocols and procedures that define how the Company works to prevent leaks, identify pipeline segments that could affect HCAs, and locate areas on our system where evaluation and improvement opportunities exist to lower the operating risks of the pipeline.
